We started it to build a food business capable of processing, experimenting, manufacturing and creating value across categories.
SAMEZ Foods is led by Dr. D. Lavanya, an academic-turned-entrepreneur who spent years teaching management before stepping into the world of food manufacturing.
The transition brought together two very different disciplines: the structured thinking of management and the everyday unpredictability of production. SAMEZ grew from that combination — research, experimentation, numbers, customer feedback and the willingness to keep learning on the factory floor.
Today, the business is building a broad platform across dehydrated ingredients, traditional food formats, wellness mixes, premixes, B2B supply and private-label opportunities.
New categories are evaluated for product logic, market fit, processing feasibility and commercial relevance before they become part of the portfolio.
Innovation matters only when it creates a useful product, better convenience, stronger differentiation or a real business opportunity.
From process flow to packaging and buyer conversations, we think beyond one batch and toward repeatable business.
Food ingredients naturally vary. Our job is to build processes around that reality — handling, drying, powdering, sieving, roasting, blending and packing with greater consistency and commercial usability.
Our long-term direction is broader than a catalogue. SAMEZ is being built as a place where businesses can discover ingredients, develop value-added food ideas, source products and find practical manufacturing support under one roof.
The portfolio will keep evolving. The principle will not: useful products, thoughtful processing and commercially sensible innovation.
