Packaging

Before putting a premix into a sachet, check these things first.

A sachet looks simple, but the product and packing material have to work together. Fill weight, powder flow, seal behaviour and total run quantity should be considered before finalising the pack.

Check product flow

Very fine, sticky, oily or hygroscopic powders may behave differently in a filling system.

Choose fill weight with the serving in mind

A 10 g sachet only makes sense if 10 g is an appropriate usage quantity.

Confirm the film

Printed film dimensions, sealing layer, roll direction and machine compatibility need to match the equipment.

Plan a trial run

A small test run can reveal fill consistency, sealing issues or material problems before a larger run.
